Dress Code
It is recognized that proper school attire and good grooming are conductive to a students educational and social development. This Dress Code was developed:

to promote a Christian atmosphere

to free children for academic concentration

to de-emphasize competition among children regarding clothing

to allow more economical dress for school
-
to provide some choice to accommodate individual differences.
The Students at Holy Redeemer School are permitted to wear only the clothing and styles approved from the student uniform book. Holy Redeemer School Uniform Colors are blue and white. The School uniform is to be worn daily unless otherwise directed.
Girls K - 6
"Polo" Shirt, short or long sleeve, interlock or pique,
picot trim or straight collar (White)
Scooter, Two Tab Scooter (Navy)
Jumper, Two Pleat Front Jumper (Navy)
Pants, Flat Front All Season pant or Adjustable Waist pant (Navy)
Shorts, Bermuda style (Navy)
Sweater, Anti-Pill crew neck cardigan or Fine Gauge knit cardigan (Navy)
Socks, crew or knee-length (Navy or White)
Tights, nylon or knit (Navy or White)
Belt, Reversible Dress Belt (Blk/Bwn) or Braided Belt (Black or Brown)
Boys K - 6

Hair: Hairstyles are to conform with good grooming standards. Hair should be clean and neatly combed and kept out of the face. Boy's hair should be of a moderate length so that it does not touch the shirt collar. No Mohawks.
Make-up: No make-up is permitted to be worn by students at any time. Only clear nail polish allowed.
Jewelry: No bracelets or dangling earrings are to be worn to school. If girls have pierced ears, only a small stud is permitted, 1 per ear. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings. A small religious medal or cross necklace may be worn. Only 1 ring at a time is permitted.
Shoes: Dark color, supportive, closed toe shoes that are non-skid,
Solid black sneakers ( no decals or emblems) are also acceptable.
Heely's, Roller Shoes, Shoes on Wheels, Rolling Shoes are NOT permitted on the school premises at any time.
All Shirts must be tucked in.
Please label all sweaters, jackets, coats, gloves, hats, etc....
